TOP PERFORMERS
During the end of the year function of the South African Wine Laboratory Association which was held at Diemersfontein Wine Estate in Wellington, the following Labs were announced in the first 5 places:

2 Wynland Laboratory
3 Breërivier Bottelerings Koorporasie
4 Distell Monis and Green Park
5 Graham Beck Wines Robertson

This competition is run annually to encourage members to partake in the scheme and to acknowledge members who constantly perform well. The competition runs from November to October. Data received on Alcohol, Total Acidity, pH, Volatile Acidity, Free and Total Sulphur dioxide and Residual sugars are used to calculate and determine the best performing laboratories.
